Social Affairs Ministry, Higher Commission for Relief, UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in cooperation with General Commission of the Arab Palestinian Refugees continue to deliver food aid to Yarmouk Camp in Damascus.
In a statement, Director of the Commission Ali Mustafa said that 550 food baskets were delivered to Yarmouk Camp on Friday, raising the total number of baskets distributed in it since January 30th 2014 to 15,377.
Mustafa said that four ill people were evacuated and admitted to hospitals in Damascus, raising the total of evacuees to 3,193, of them 189 were students who were evacuated so that they can pursue their education.
He also asserted that the Syrian state is providing all necessary facilitations to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian refugees, particularly those in Yarmouk Camp, adding that aid distribution is proceeding will and will continue on Saturday.
