4 civilians dead, scores wounded in mortar attacks in Damascus and Hama

Terrorists fired mortar shells on Damascus city, claiming the lives of four citizens and injuring scores others.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that two mortar rounds fell on al-Nejmeh square and al-Hassan street, claiming the lives of two citizens.

SANA reporter said that first round hit a residential building near al-Nejmeh Square, causing huge material damage to an apartment and 4 cars, while the other landed in al-Hassan street, causing material damage to 7 cars, 3 of them were burnt down.

Meanwhile, two civilians were killed and some 20 others wounded due to mortar shells that terrorists fired on al-Amara residential area in Damascus.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that three mortar shells fell in al-Qazzaein neighborhood in al-Amara area, killing two civilians, one of them a woman, and wounding 26 others.

Material damage was also reported in the attack.

Terrorist attack injures two citizens in Mhardeh city

Terrorists fired mortar shells on Mhardeh city in Hama countryside, injuring two citizens.

A source in the province told SANA that terrorists fired 3 shells on the residential districts of the northern neighborhood of Mhardeh city, injuring two citizens who were admitted to hospitals.

Two citizens wounded in Jaramana

Two citizens have been wounded after terrorists launched mortar attacks on Jaramana city in Damascus countryside.

A source at the Police Command said that six mortar rounds hit the neighborhoods of al-Nahda and al-Wahda, as well as al-Bassel Street and the main Square in Jaramana city, wounding two civilians and causing material damage.
