There are dozens of images on the internet of Syrian Civilians being massacred. There is a report of an ambush by Alawites in Latakia who attacked and incoming convoy of HTS military and killed 13 soldiers, but this occurred after the massacres began. It was not the reason for the massacres. I will cover this story shortly.
Massacre in Al-Mukhtariyya, Latakia | HTS Militants Kill Dozens of Civilians (Multiple Reports)
A horrific massacre has taken place in the village of Al-Mukhtariyya, Latakia, where HTS militants have brutally killed dozens of civilians, including men, women, and children. Reports describe the attack as a targeted sectarian genocide against the Alawite population.
The scale of the atrocity is devastating, with entire families wiped out and the village left in ruins. This massacre further exposes the sectarian violence perpetrated under the guise of jihad, as Syrian Muslims aligned with HTS continue their campaign of terror against the Alawite community.

- Yesterday HTS militants entered Daliya in a show of force.
- Upon descending into Beit Ana, they began indiscriminately shooting and hurling sectarian insults at Alawite civilians.
- Innocent civilians were martyred, unarmed and defenseless.
- Local resistance rose up to defend their people and homes.
- HTS reinforcements arrived, escalating violence with artillery and mortar shelling on civilian homes.
- HTS helicopters bombed the villages, killing even more civilians.
- The resistance formed groups and launched a counteroffensive, targeting HTS artillery positions and seizing control.
- Astamo Military Airport was overrun, and the Military Council was formed and declared the battle to liberate the coast from HTS terrorists. This was not an act of aggression from the resistance—it was a reaction to massacres committed against civilians.
- HTS Deploys Mass Convoys HTS sent large convoys of militants to Syria’s coastal areas, heavily armed and prepared for mass operations.
- Systematic Roundups & Mass Executions Upon arrival, HTS militants began rounding up Alawite men, detaining them en masse. Reports of mass executions surfaced, with detainees being shot in fields, homes, and public squares. In many cases, entire families were slaughtered, including women and children.
