Max and Aaron discuss the U.S. demands on Syria to lift the Sanctions and leave Syria’s North Eastern region with their 2,000 troops. The list is in the previous article, but this discussion centers around some relevant issues. One thing neither the previous article or this discussion addresses is the effect the U.S. leaving would have on their Kurdish proxies, squeezed between Turkey in the north and Jolani’s militants to the west.
In any case, this illuminates the US pressures on Syria and Jolani’s superficial efforts to comply, and the extent of the endlessly expanded and regurgitated lies in the U.S. press.
