Jolani Escapes to Latakia as Israel Bombs Damascus

Sweida is strewn with bodies.  I won’t publish the videos here, but the ground is strewn with dead soldiers and gruesome scenes are everywhere in civilian areas including a hospital where the halls are running with blood, while bodies piled up in emergency rooms; some hallways are lined with bodies wrapped in black plastic bags but most are lying where they fell.   It is sickening.  Meanwhile, Israel bombs an empty Presidential in Damascus, news stations along with other civilian areas and infrastructure. as previous articles have shown.

The reported escape of Julani to Idlib or Latakia under Turkish coordination exposing the fragility of the so-called transitional government:

Special security sources report that prominent Syrian officials, including Julani, left the capital Damascus in recent hours, heading toward Idlib province or Latakia, accompanied by their families and some relatives. The operation was reportedly carried out at the direct request and coordination of the Turkish side.  The sources also confirmed that Anas Khattab was among those who departed for Idlib.

In a separate security development, the vehicle of Syrian Defense Minister Mirhaf came under gunfire after he exited an apartment in the Malki neighborhood, following a visit to the General Staff headquarters.  No confirmed information has been received regarding his injury or current condition.

In the south, information suggests that the recent tribal attacks on the outskirts of Suwayda province were conducted under the direct planning of Julani, who oversaw the arming and logistical support. Sources expect the pace of these attacks to gradually decline starting tomorrow.

What I know so far, Jolani and family are in Latakia under Turkish protection. There have been no assassinations. The media stations did go dark but were not ‘invaded’ by an unknown military group.

Jolani organised the tribal factions advance on Sweida to contain the anti-Israel Druze factions and to slaughter/loot on behalf of Israel who will now take control of Sweida by Druze proxy.  41 Syrian tribes were mobilised in batches but the total number of militia combined would be around 150,00, a huge force.

I spoke to friends in Sweida who are opposed to both Jolani and Israel – they are going to act strategically [and will possibly accept a ceasefire and deal going forward to avoid massacre (I just pray the same scenario is not repeated as we saw play out on the coast among the Alawite minorities).]

Eventually we will see the carving up of Syria – Israel in the south, occupation by proxy, linking with the Kurds in the north-east to achieve the Davids Corridor.  Jolani, if he stays in power, will still be the regional enforcer for the US and Israel with the Takfiri militia under his control. This is part of the security agreement between Syria and Israel since Baku. If Jolani is to be replaced, it is very possible the role will go to Asaad Al Shaibani who is the more shrewd of the two and heavily supported by MI6.

The area of control for HTS will be from Damascus to Homs and Hama to enable them to put pressure on Lebanon and to give them a corridor from Homs to Iraq (Homs governorate) if Iraqi resistance is to be a target also. It will also be a corridor for ISIS.  The foreign Takfiri and the HTS militia are loyal to Jolani however so he may remain for the time being. The foreign Takfiri perceive that he saved them from expulsion after Trump initially demanded that they be cleansed from Syria.

Turkey will maintain control in the north through the Syrian National Army but will not be allowed to expand into central Syria. Russia and France will come to a deal on the management of the coast area in cooperation with Israel. The situation is fluid and I will update as more information comes in and I can add any developments to the analysis . One thing is for sure, the more Israel over-extends, the greater the opportunity for the Resistance.

It is now clear that Jolani, his family, and his cabinet have fled to Turkey or are hiding in Latakia.  What a shame; this is the humiliation of Ottoman caliphate and the millions of visionary jihadis cheering it on online. Couldn’t he stay in Damascus and keep fighting like Yahya Sinwar (r), and Sayyid Nasrallah (r)?  ….( or maybe Bashar Assad? [jb] )
