Statement by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), March 2, 2026
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemns in the strongest terms the treacherous American-Zionist aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran this morning, and affirms its principled and full support for Iran, the leadership, the people and the army, in its legitimate response to this blatant aggression.
This broad aggression, run by the US administration and its Zionist partner, represents a blatant embodiment of the policies of “colonial brutality” aimed at imposing absolute domination over the region’s capabilities and wealth, foremost of which is oil, and a miserable attempt to redraw political maps to serve the Zionist-American strategic interests, and reveals the reality of the expansionist intentions of this criminal alliance, which lacks any moral or humanitarian deterrent, and seeks in vain to adapt the will of the people and break the original approach of resistance.
This brutal attack is a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and the principles of international law that guarantee the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States. In this context, the Front affirms that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the natural and internationally guaranteed right to respond to this aggression by all available means and means, stressing that only the forces of aggression bear the catastrophic consequences of this dangerous escalation.
This brutal aggression transcends the borders of Iran, and its impact extends to the future of the entire region, and constitutes an expansion of the brutal war of annihilation against our people and the peoples of the region, in an attempt to achieve the aggressive and colonial goals of the criminal Zionist entity and its colonial supporters.
We in the Popular Front see in this aggression a very serious event that has its aftermath, which requires the highest degree of resistance and steadfastness, as the only and effective way to thwart the Zionist and American plans, and to break the arrogance of the enemy.
In conclusion, we call on all libertarian forces and the free people of the world to declare solidarity with Iran, escalate popular protests in all fields, and work to build a broad global front against this criminal war against the peoples of the region, and to prosecute war criminals in Washington and Tel Aviv before international forums.
